Biography:
Daryl Ferguson joins the Delaware Dynasty as one of the first players signed. As a youth player in Maryland, Daryl played youth soccer in the Western Pennsylvania Foothills Soccer Club.
After graduating from St. John's High School (MD), he was inducted into the school's Hall of Fame. Following graduation from high school, Daryl advanced to play for Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Currently in his junior year at SHU, Daryl is coming off his second consecutive year as an All-American Mideast Conference selection.
Daryl is a pre-med major at SHU and has been named as his team's captain as he enters his senior year in the fall of 2006. Daryl's last club was D.C. United's Y-League team.
Daryl is someone who stood out right away at our last open tryout in January. He is a solid defender whose physical presence and athleticism allows him to deny opponents scoring opportunities. Additionally, he brings a sense of mobility in the attack out of the back and such two-way players are what we are looking for.
